I have decided to attempt to sell my special rainbow portal jacket sweater!!
✨About:
I created this piece last year as a personal passion project. I poured over 45 hours into bringing this piece to life. Inventing a custom circle-square crochet pattern with a vinyl portal I cut and sewed into each giant square I made, sewing each individual square together by hand, then assembling the jacket all together, hand sewing in a zipper as well as multiple strips of fully crocheted “interfacing” along the zipper to add structure, and finally crocheting a little collar and steam/ wet blocking the entire piece multiple times until it draped the way I wanted it to.
Now why am I deciding to sell a piece I worked so hard to create for myself? I have not been wearing this piece nearly enough the past year!! I really hope to give it an opportunity to potentially find a loving home that values it and will wear it.
✨Details:
Now, all that being said, this piece is pre loved! It has some (very minor) signs of wear like a few scuffs of paint missing on the zipper from repeated washing. The sweater has some cute little pockets sewn into it but they aren’t fancy. They are just a thin purple fabric.
✨It will come with two zipper pulls (rock candy one and a glass heart bead one pictured in one if the pics) you can also put your own charms as the pull if you prefer! Remove them before washing.

The sweater is crocheted using acrylic yarn and features flexible vinyl plastic portals. (the jacket is not lined.) the teal yarn has iridescent thread woven into it giving it a bit of sparkle.

✨Care instructions:
Wash on cold delicate settings separate from other clothing. Remove any zipper charms before washing by unclipping them. I recommend storing it folded up not hung in order to prevent stretching from its own weight over time.
